From the moment you enter our doors, we want your family to be comfortable. But most importantly, we want to provide you the comfort and support you need so you can focus on the most important thing — your child.

Rules for staying at rmhcncf

Failure to follow the House rules, including all rules listed in the Guest Guidelines, may result in being asked to leave and/or losing the privilege of future stays.

  1. PROHIBITED: illegal drugs, alcohol, weapons, violence, theft (including copyrights), or profanity.
  2. NO SMOKING OR VAPING, except in the designated smoking area.
  3. FAMILY FRIENDLY: quiet, kind, respectful, & conscientious.
  4. NO PHYSICAL PUNISHMENT: Use the privacy of your room for discipline matters.
  5. FOCUS ON SAFETY:
    1. Wear gloves when handling “Help Yourself” food.
    2. Report any contagious disease/condition to a manager ASAP
    3. Register all visitors at front desk. NO unauthorized guests in the House!
    4. Keep information about other RMH families confidential.
    5. Keep track of your keys. $10 lost key fee is collected.
  6. MANDATORY 24/7 SUPERVISION of all children under 18 & any outpatient 21 or younger. A guest family is prohibited from supervising another guest’s child(ren).
  7. PATIENT VISITS AND DAILY RMH ROOM USE: Our mission is to help keep families close to their patient(s).
    1. We expect you will spend at least 6 hours each day with your patient & use your RMH room every day.
    2. You are required to spend every night at the Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida (the maximum absence is 48 hours before it is considered room abandonment).

Management reserves the right to enter any room at any time for any reason.
